Service Spring’s Millbury Ohio manufacturing facility sustained damage as a result of an F4 tornado on Saturday, June 5th. Our main production facility and offices sustained damage while two non manufacturing buildings located on company property were destroyed. All buildings were unoccupied at the time and thankfully no staff members were injured.

Service Spring personnel immediately evaluated the situation and enacted our Emergency Action Plan. We are proud that our Sales Team began answering incoming calls on Monday morning June 7th. Time sensitive orders were produced and shipped from our Visalia, California production facility while utility crews worked to restore services to our Ohio facility. Full production was resumed on the morning of Wednesday June 9th.

Our thoughts and prayers go out to the members of our local community who were affected by this event. The outpouring of support we have received from customers, vendors and local community groups has been overwhelming. Through it all, our team remained focused on minimizing the impact to our customers and restoring our facility to full operation.

Continuing our commitment to service

We've compiled some pictures to show the storm damage. Our building is located between the Police Department and the High School.

returning the service spring sign

To All at Service Spring, We at JVS Garage Door are encouraged by your email update that you anticipate being back in service soon. Our thoughts have been for you the last few days. My daughter found this piece of your company sign washed up on the beach near our home on Catawba Island near Port Clinton. How coincidental that is!
Best Regards, Dick Lano and staff JVS Garage Door
